BASEBALL

Team Managers

1. Submit your Manager Application Form to Sedgewick Minor Ball
2. Complete the Respect In Sport for Activity Leaders <OR> Safe Sport online course
   • If you have a valid RIS-AL or Safe Sport course certificate from another sporting organization (e.g. hockey, soccer), you may transfer your certificate to Baseball Alberta. Please contact SMB's Registrar for assistance.
3. Provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
   • Email a copy to sedgewickmbregistrar@gmail.com or upload to the 'Documents' section of your Spordle profile
   • VS Checks are valid for 3 years from the date they are issued. 
   • If you have previously provided a VS Check in the past 3 seasons to Sedgewick Minor Ball, you do not need to provide a new one.
   • If you need a new VS Check, Sedgewick Minor Ball will provide you with a letter to take to your local RCMP detachment to assist with obtaining your VS Check free of charge. 
4. Register as an approved Team Staff member with Baseball Alberta HERE

   • VS Checks are valid for 3 years from the date they are issued. 
   • If you have previously provided a VS Check in the past 3 seasons to Sedgewick Minor Ball, you do not need to provide a new one.
   • If you need a new VS Check, Sedgewick Minor Ball will provide you with a letter to take to your local RCMP detachment to assist with obtaining your VS Check free of charge.
